Princethorpe Victory

At long last we’ve managed to get hold of some opposition, and what a game it was.

The whole game lasted about an hour and was jam packed with excitement. There were wickets flying and numerous boundaries per over. I really don’t know how the batsmen were managing to find the gaps in the fielders!

Here’s some pictures for you, i think they speak for themselves.

The Line up, eyeing up the trophy.

The Scorer (Part 1)

The Scorer (Part 2)

A forward defensive.

A legside edge

A cover drive avoiding the slips

A cover drive with the wicket keeper close at hand

A spin bowl

A SIX! On this we have to play ‘Spot the Scorer’?

Run out at last!

A worms eye view.

A diving catch!

The scorer, this time a little closer.

Enjoying tea afterwards.

The Presentation of the very last G’Zunda Trophy!
