The third annual President’s Trophy last Sunday saw Yvette Tanner take over the mantle of champion from her son Jacob.
There was some ruffling of purist feathers when the “old geeza on bike” turned up in shorts. A hastily convened meeting gave him the benefit of the doubt this time.
This truely social game was very much enjoyed by all, given the beautiful weather and excellent lunch. Our thanks to our President Roger and to John Emberton of the Stockton Club for the organisation.
Pete

We are intrigued by the old geeza on bike. But are very pleased to know of the many Petanque clubs around the country. We have done very well over the last few years and offer you our good luck for the future.
